Each intuitive massage includes a consultation of your needs and problem areas with your massage therapist. Each therapist brings to the table a list of modalities they learned and can draw from their experience to provide the greatest therapeutic effect. Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is known as the "traditional" massage. This style of massage can include long gliding strokes, kneading, friction, tapping and shaking motions. A mild and gentle hands on form of stretching which relieves connective tissue restrictions all over the body promoting strength, flexibility, range of motion and proper alignment. Because the connective tissue (sometimes referred to as fascia) is body-wide, a tension or trauma in one part of the body can affect another part. The connective tissue responds to the trained touch to release the adverse effects of inflammation, tensions, and trauma.

Reiki
Reiki (pronounced ray-kee) is a Japanese system of energy healing. It is based on the idea that pain and disease are caused by an imbalance and/or shortage of Life Energy (Chi, Ki or Qi) in the physical body. The body's organs and tissues have electromagnetic fields around them that pulse at certain frequencies. When these frequencies are agitated, pain or illness results. In this technique, the therapist uses & transmits the Life Energy(electromagnetic field) to facilitate healing. Reiki energy readjusts the electromagnetic fields to normal frequencies, restoring balance. The therapist places both hands gently in specific positions, either on or above the body. This laying-on of hands is designed to relieve pain, restore vitality, heal illnesses and aid spiritual growth.

Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy is a holistic healing practice that uses very light touching to balance the craniosacral system in the body, which includes the bones, nerves, fluids, and connective tissues of the cranium, the spine and the sacrum, and ultimately all tissues because "everything is connected to everything else.
